助視會:參與慈善義賣,用行動送光明

助視會是一家創始於美國的國際非盈利性機構,自成立以來,致力於消除白內障所引起的視力減退或失明人员。據統計,全球約有一億多的白內障患者,其中有很大一部分白內障患者因家庭貧困而無法及時治療,致使病情加重,甚至失明。特別是亞洲、非洲、南美洲的一些發展中國家,情況最為嚴重。

用行動幫助白內障患者恢復光明,慈善義賣活動:從即日起至12月31日,在Zalora.com.hk購物,結帳的時候輸入【HelpMeSee】即可獲得獨家85折優惠。同時將會把部分收益捐給助視會,讓大家在購物的同時支持助視會工作,助視會將會用這些公益基金來幫助更多的白內障患者,你的一次輕鬆的購物,有可能就給一名貧苦的白內障患者帶來了光明和希望。

助視會一直致力於推動全球防盲培訓專案,致力於杜絕全球白內障致盲行動。在過去的六年中,助視會與三百多位外科合作夥伴和社區衛生專業人員共同努力,創立了兼顧患者安全和手術質控的眼科手術規範及工具,並推出了高科技的模擬手術設備,幫助大量患者重現了光明的同時,還持續培訓了一大批當地的醫護人員。為了幫助更多的患者,助視會客服資金困難,舉辦多場慈善義賣活動。比如Zalora.com.hk讓消費者在購物的同時也可支援助視會的工作,據悉,包括本次活動在內,助視會今年已經舉辦了五場慈善義賣活動。

據悉,2030年之前,助視會預計將會培訓白內障小切口手術師,屆時,全球將有兩千萬名白內障患者接受治療。而這其中,或許也會有您的一份功勞。從某種意義上說,慈善義賣參與就是一種幫助,歡迎大家踴躍參加。
